To preserve your wood furniture, polish it periodically. This preparation is a simple one, but its quality is stricly professional.
Equipment: measuring spoons, double bolier, mixing spoon, pint jar with cover.
Ingredients: carnauba wax, mineral oil, lemon oil. Buy carnauba wax at a paint or hobby store.
Yield: about 1 pint.
Melt 1 tablespoon of carnauba wax in the top of a double boiler. Add 1 pint of mineral oil to the melted wax and stir until completely blended. If you want the polish to smell like lemon, add a few drops of lemon oil and stir well. Pour into a clean jar and cover tighly.
Apply to finished wood with a clean soft cloth and buff to a fine shine.
